We have reached a major point in the Government's roadmap out of lockdown. I know many of us felt as though the day would never come but it has. We have now moved to step 4 of the Government roadmap.
Along with everyone's efforts and our world beating vaccine rollout we have got to where we are today. 80% of UK adults have now had their first dose and over two thirds have had their second dose.
It is so important that we continue moving forward with our success and if you haven't yet had your jab then please get yourself booked. Also, if you have had your first jab and are then please make sure you get your second. It is so important that we make sure that we have had both jabs to get full protection.
We can now do the things that we all took for granted. We can see our loved ones, attend family events such as weddings and christenings, all without restrictions. Businesses across the country and here in Stoke-on-Trent can function and trade at full capacity.
Whilst we all enjoy our regained freedoms, we must make sure that we don't go backwards. As well as getting our jabs, we should continue to use our common sense. Let's move forward but remain cautious, wear masks in busy indoor areas and keep those who are vulnerable in mind.
