Following our huge efforts, working with Cllr Abi Brown, Jonathan Gullis MP and Jo Gideon MP, it is fantastic to see the Home Office have now signed a lease to open their new offices in Stoke-on-Trent.
Following the Home Office commitment to create new jobs in Stoke-on-Trent, it has agreed a deal for office space - totalling more than 38,000 sq ft (3,530 sq m) - The first 100 vacancies have been filled and roles being advertised include 160 customer services jobs.
In total this will see 500+ new skilled Home Office jobs located in our city with the first new recruits starting at the Smithfield Two building from March, whilst plans continue on developing the full hub.
There are lots of job opportunities still up for grabs and so if you or someone you know is interested please follow the link below or SHARE this post! The deadline for applications is Thursday 16 February.
