During the summer recess, MPs such as myself are released from Parliament for the summer period. Throughout summer I have been busy visiting various groups and organisations in Stoke-on-Trent.
It’s been a jam packed summer recess in Stoke-on-Trent! Whether it's joining residents in helping clean our streets through litter picks; making our roads safer with Community Speed Watch schemes or visiting the various projects throughout Stoke-on-Trent providing help and support to young residents.
I’d like to celebrate our city for getting back up and rolling up our sleeves as we emerge from the pandemic. The last 18 months have been extremely difficult for us all. However, through the true Stoke spirit we seem to be on our way back up and I hope we continue to see our city improve.
I would like to thank our great team of Conservative Councillors who have joined me over the summer. They have worked tirelessly for the constituents and continue to represent our city with pride. I would also like to thank all our volunteers who have done so much recently whether in supporting the most vulnerable, keeping our communities clean or in helping deliver our world leading vaccination programme, you all deserve a medal!
Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, I have received some 15,263 emails and my fantastic small team have helped me handle 7,904 cases. A huge thank you to them and a reminder that we are here to help! Get in touch with my office if you need any help or assistance - [email protected]
