During summer recess, Jack has been back home in Stoke-on-Trent helping out in the community.
Jack has been joining local Councillors in their wards on various projects and visits. Recently, Jack was joined by Cllr Maxine Clark and the Trentham Lakes community for a local litter pick.
Jack said:
"Thank you to all that joined Cllr Maxine Clark and me for a litter pick in Trentham Lakes.
We managed to gather bags of litter from the streets and Trentham Lakes Park. Whilst it is a shame that we need to carry out these litter picks in the first place, the community involvement shows that the litter bugs are the minority.
It was especially nice to see Trentham Lake Park looking so clean by the end of the litter pick. As a parent and as an MP, I will only be happy for my residents to let their children use our local parks when I would be happy for my own child to use the parks. We have also been working hard to tackle the issues experienced with anti-social behaviour recently on the park.
Thank you again Cllr Maxine Clark and the fantastic Trentham community!"
Please keep a lookout for future litter picks in the area. All are welcome!
