It is good to see the acceleration of the Covid-19 booster vaccine rollout, all adults will now be offered a booster by the end of the year. Jack was pleased to be able to speak in the House of Commons in support of the booster rollout. Jack also stressed with the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care the importance to support vaccination teams. Jack asked the Secretary of State to ensure that local vaccination teams are supported in order to carry out the increased capacity of vaccinations.
Speaking outside of the Chamber, Jack Brereton MP said:
"Our vaccination teams in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire have been doing an amazing job and I am pleased further support will be made available with plans to recruit 10,000 more vaccinators to help with these efforts.
With concerns about the new Omicron variant please make sure you get your booster as soon as you are eligible to do so and if you still haven't had a first or second dose, I urge you to please come forward now to ensure you get the best possible protection."
