I am very sorry to hear this afternoon of the passing of HRH the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip.
My condolences to the Queen and his family. His dedication to public service as the Queen's consort as "her strength and stay" will be remembered for generations to come, as will his legacy through the Duke of Edinburgh award.
