Recently, Jo Gideon MP and Jack Brereton MP attended the British Ceramics Biennial (BCB) festival in Stoke-on-Trent.
The BCB festival was started back in 2009 and since then has grown to be the single largest ceramics event in the UK. BCB present artworks from the UK’s leading ceramicists alongside work by international artists, in exhibitions and special events held across the city.
Jack Brereton MP said:
"Attending the launch was a privilege and it was very interesting looking at the different pieces of art on display. The artists behind these pieces of work have are gifted with talent to be envied. Congratulations and thank you to all those who have contributed to making the BCB a reality this year.
To see the project go from strength to strength is encouraging and exciting for our city. I would strongly encourage everyone to visit and particularly to have a go at some of the creative activities."
The BCB runs until 17 October and you can find more here about all the activities on at the main site and around the city as part of the festival.
